Last week was the 10th Anniversary of Joep and Jacqueline’s untimely passing due to the MH17 crash. It was comforting to see how their memory lives on in the hearts and minds of the global health community. Thank you for everyone’s respectful wishes, stories and anecdotes.

Hiv-onderzoeker Joep Lange, slachtoffer MH17:. Dag en nacht was Joep Lange bezig met onderzoek naar hiv, in Afrika en Amsterdam. „Hij benadrukte altijd dat we oog moest hebben voor de meest kwetsbare mensen.” Tien jaar geleden kwam Lange om het leven in het neergehaalde MH17-toestel.
